Outdoor use is at your own discretion. Whilst wax and oil is applied that is good and weatherproof under most circumstances, outdoor use is beyond my control, Wide temperature variations UV light, Ice, Snow and H2O will break down most preservatives. However I sometimes find weather beaten old pieces of timber that have survived these elements and make excellent outdoor furniture that looks right.
