Finished in Beeswax & Walnut Oil for waterproofing

Sold

Small Oak Stool for the little ones

Welsh stick back chair -- SOLD

This piece has a combination of lathe turned spindles and a carved rustic element in the back top rail shaped from a grown tree branch.

Classic rocker SOLD

Hardwood legs and spindles with woven rush seat

Sold

Primitive Welsh Stick Back chair.

In Sycamore and Oak this curiously comfortable chair sold surprisingly quickly at Market. The basket of shavings are a product of the sit-on shave horse utilised to pare down the legs using a draw knife. By leaving some areas unshaved the original sticks cut from the hedgerow have the pattern you see here.

This bark is too dark so I now use Silver Birch for its richly coloured bark.

Sold

Attempting to teach myself by experimentation this high chair has a seat of woven rush-work and back of tree bark.

I wish I had turned the legs and rails in more shapely fashion and made a better job of the rush woven seat.

SOLD

Welsh Cat stick back chair.

Of Oak, Rippled Ash and African hardwoods forming a surprisingly comfortable chair for the cat lover.

The cat's body is curved inwards to give support to your shoulder blades and the legs gently supports either side of your spine.

Re-commissioned bench

Should you have a pair of bench ends like these I can supply the slats, nuts and bolts for you to re assemble them into a great piece of garden furniture.

However the finished article is too heavy for me to convey or deliver in one piece.
